Links Thanksgiving ... Julene Webb "The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" Psalm 118:6 I thank the Lord that He does not change. Have you noticed the “uncertainty” that has become part of many conversations between co-workers, friends and family? The volatile stock markets around the globe, the question of who will lead our nation next year, our changing economy ... fewer jobs and higher prices can all take their toll on us. Never before in my lifetime have I ever experienced a time such as this. Many people in my line of work (Real Estate / Lending) are “out of work’. In years past money was plentiful and work was “busy”. Now as I work in the small business development division of a growing company, I am meeting with many “humble” people every week that are “looking” for something new. As the verse below states, “His mercy endures “forever”. Not for a day, not for a week or for a month – but ‘forever’ How blessed we are to truly know the Savior, to know that He is with us “always.” I encourage you to take time out today to think on the many blessings that God has bestowed upon you. I am so thankful for my family, my wonderful husband, for my friends in the missionary field like the Yellowhairs’ who I love joking with when we get to spend time together; the Austill's who are like a valuable extra set of grandparents to us, and also for the special friends that we have made at CMP. My life has been changed by spending time with you. I thank you for your friendship. May God bless you this month as you celebrate Thanksgiving. “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalm 118:1
