A Study In the Lord's Prayer

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be your Name.

Praise God for what He has done, is doing, and will do in your life. Praise Him for who He is. Prepare to enter into His presence. Ask God to wash you clean and forgive your sins.

El Shaddai     -       All Sufficient One
El Elyon      -     The Most High God
Adonai           -    Lord, Master
Elohim     -      Creator
Jehovah Nissi     -    The Lord My Banner
Qanna      -     Jealous
Jehovah Raah     -     The Lord My Shepherd
Yahweh    -     Lord (Jehovah)
Jehovah Rophe   -     The Lord that healeth
Jehovah Jireh   -   The Lord will Provide
Jehovah Shammah    -    The Lord is there
Jehovah Shalom    -   The Lord is peace
Jehovah Tsidkenu    -    The Lord our Righteousness
Jehovah Sabaoth   -   The Lord of Hosts
Jehovah Mekoddishkem    -   The Lord who sanctifies you

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Lord let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in my life, in the life of my family, relatives, friends, co-workers, church, nation, etc.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Not abundance, but all our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Lord, may I glorify you through my finances.

Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

Lord, You have forgiven me so much. Help me to have forgiveness, love and compassion for those who have done me wrong. Help me not to let the sun go down on my anger.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

May my heart and way be pure before You this day. Let my thoughts be lifted up towards You today.

For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Return to praise, and praise Him all day! Remember, Paul said to pray without ceasing. Amen is a pause between prayers, not an ending to it.
