Christian Missionary Pilots: Who We Are

~~~
Please check out our current newsletter
Christian Missionary Pilots (CMP) is an organization made up of volunteer pilots and non-pilots working together to further the kingdom of God using the light plane throughout the Southwestern United States.  Speed  and direct travel allow Christians to serve and still maintain employment outside the CMP ministry.
Christian Missionary Pilots can transport skilled craftsmen to assist at mission construction sites, and fly doctors and medical personnel to remote areas for weekend clinics.
One of our most important areas of support is through prayer and encouragement. We not only pray for the brothers and sisters in Christ we work with,  we pray with them. We stay in touch through our monthly newsletter, through email, and  through a monthly card ministry to each one. In recent years, at the Lord's leading, we have reached beyond out 'physical' area to pray for, and stay in touch with, missionaries around the world.
Each year Christian Missionary Pilots conducts its Operation Christmas Stocking  in which members deliver Christmas gifts to mission stations throughout Mexico and Indian reservations in the U.S.
CMP is an organization for non-pilots as well as pilots. They accompany pilots on missions and share in the ministry and expenses. Non-pilots also help by traveling to those areas that be reached by car or truck.
All CMP pilots are responsible for providing the finances for every mission they fly. CMP members come from a wide variety of backgrounds. This diversity, and a common desire to serve the Lord, are the keys to the continuing ministry of Christian Missionary Pilots.
Belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and a willingness to serve Him are the only requirements for membership in CMP.
