Come here what the Lord is doing with CMP!

Operation Christmas Stocking Bill Kayter

Thanks be to our God! CMP delivered 1,393 stockings this year along with 252 blankets and a special gift for each pastor … what a blessing as everything was delivered before Christmas by various pilots and drivers. We sent out 20 loads this year which is about 6 more than last year and 2 of the fellowships shared what they had with smaller fellowships around them. That is the Spirit of Christ-mas in the true sense of the season.

A heartfelt ‘thank you’ to those of you who prayed for the stockings … for those who contributed their time and funds … only the Lord knows how many hearts were touched by His love this Christmas because of you willingness to be used by Him!

Would you believe our first gathering for Operation Christmas Stocking 2010 will be at the CMP warehouse January 14? And Curt & Julene will be having the 1st Arizona meeting of the new year on January 8 at their home as we all seek the Lord’s direction for His ministry here at CMP. Now is the time to press ahead. What a blessing to be about our Father’s business!

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9

We are blessed to already have folks volunteering to sew stockings and cut fabric. Will you join with us here at CMP? If not physically, would you
include us in your prayers? Thank you!

The President’s Corner … Curt Webb

“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:19 NLT

Looking back over the last year really makes me want to praise the LORD more and more! He has been extremely faithful to my wife Julene and I, and CMP. The LORD has brought many people along side us in our mission to help the many missionary families on the Navajo and Hopi Reservations, in Mexico, as well as many missionary families across the world. I want to thank all those people and organizations that the LORD has brought along side CMP to help.

One of the missionary families that we support says that if it were not for CMP, their hands would be empty. So, if it were not for YOU, the people that come alongside CMP, being prompted by the LORD, OUR hands would be empty. And of course, we always want to give honor and glory to the LORD for all this. I look forward to seeing what the LORD is going to do through CMP this year. We already have many “projects” on the table for 2010.

Please be in prayer for the Board of Directors, the Committee Chairs, the membership, and the missionary families that are on the “front lines” out in the field. May the LORD richly bless you and your family according to His riches in Christ Jesus this coming New Year.

Hyder … Hank & Bobbi Rowell

Christmas Delivery To Hyder and Mexico … Rolf Parks made a flight to Yuma to deliver bags for Hyder, Tacna and three churches in Mexico. Curt and Julene also brought bags. We gave out over 250 bags and presents to the children. Pastor Raul and Martha had people from Mexico to walk the bags across the border. Everything went very well. Each year I am amazed to see the hand of God at work. I think we will be short on bags or trouble at the border, rain or something. God knows and he goes before us in so many ways. Thank you Lord.

I went to Rancho Sordo Mudo with Dennis to deliver his load. Again the lord went before us. We got a green light at the border, and drove on down. We visited another orphanage called Est-ado 29. It was about 20 miles south of Sordo Mudo. There are 95 children there. The church Dennis goes to wanted it checked out. We hope to have a short video in Jan. of the trip.

Speaking of the January meeting, you will not want to miss this one. We hope to have a special guest that claims to be Hank's grandpa and is 110 years old. Hank will be 72 this month. He said he hasn't seen his grandpa for 42 years. His grandpa also says he speaks 7 different languages and was a missionary pilot, flew the Amazon jungles and in South America. He said he has told thousands about God. Please pray for him and don't miss the January meeting.

Thank you … A big thank you to all who helped with the Christmas bags and putting them to gather this year. When Bill gave his report at the Board meeting about all the people who helped, I was blessed and I know he was. I would like to thank those of you who support us with funds to pay the bills. November was the first month in ten we were able to pay the bills and have a few dollars left over. God Bless You.

Arizona … Curt Webb

Well, the LORD has some exciting things for us this coming year. We are in the process of planning the Missionary Conference for March of this year. Please be in prayer for this event and that the LORD’s will to be done.

We will be having an Arizona committee meeting on Friday, Jan 08 2010, at 7:00 p.m., at our house. We have need of people who want to help out with the planning and various tasks involved with the Conference. We also have some construction needs coming up in May 2010 in Northern Arizona, plus additional construction needs of skilled and unskilled laborers at the church in Hyder probably in late spring. And of course, Operation Christmas Stocking is pretty much a year round operation.

If have the desire to help out but don’t know how or where, please call and we can help find a “fit” for. If you would like to participate in Missionary Conference or other projects, please let us know. You can call 714-979-2415 for additional information.

Operation Christmas Stocking Trip Report: Northern Arizona … Bill Kayter

Delivered 580 Christmas 'stockings' this weekend (Dec 18-20 w/ Curt) and 250 blankets to the Navajo and Hopi Reservations in Northern Arizona ... 1500 miles from noon Friday til about midnight last night [Saturday] ... 1 school, 8 churches ... prayed with and got prayed for ... sharing Jesus is my Christmas present ...... thank you Lord ... saw smiles when I wished a 'Merry Christmas' ... saw such thankfulness from pastors and their wives of very small fellowships; small 'lights' standing firm in the midst of great darkness ... was reminded of the thought that we are called by the Lord to be faithful not successful ... He measures the success not us ... amen.
