Trip Report: Gospel of John Booklets to Tijuana …
3,000 full-color Gospel of John booklets in Spanish were delivered to John & Betty Funk ...
The booklets are provided by (www.livingwater.org) The Living Water Project, a ministry of Absolutely Free Inc. For this delivery, Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa provided a van while CMP provided the gas and I drove down to Carlsbad where we met up.
CMP has provided nearly 5,000 of these booklets in English and Spanish to
pastors throughout the Southwest! Pray that the Lord would use them to draw
people to Himself!
Prayer & Encouragement …
One of our most important areas of support is through prayer and encouragement. We not only pray for the brothers and sisters in Christ we work with, we pray with them and through a monthly card ministry, stay in touch to each one.
The Lord started this ministry of CMP about 10 years ago with the sending of about 15-20 cards to our brothers and sisters in Christ throughout Arizona and Mexico.
In recent years, at the Lord's leading, we have reached beyond out 'physical' area to pray for, and stay in touch with, missionaries around the world. This past month we sent out over 120 cards, usually with a CD inside a padded envelope. The response over the years has been overwhelming as we have watched the Lord minister to His saints ‘in the field.’
